Glenlivet & Glen Moray – Past & Present

Glenlivet & Glen Moray, two Speyside distilleries that used to make completely different whisky than they do nowadays. Both are big and commercial, but one is the underdog and the other the biggest selling Single Malt Scotch whisky in the world. We’ll try ‘m vertically, side by side. The reason you want to come is because you want to know how surprisingly good Glenlivet used to be. Also, we have 30 year old Glen Moray.

Glenlivet Founder’s or 12yo or 15yo (we still have to decide)
Glenlivet 12 – Pure Malt from the 1990s
Glenlivet 12 – Unblended All Malt from the early 1980s
Glenlivet 12 – Unblended All Malt from the early 1970s

Glen Moray – Bottled 1980s
Glen Moray 30 y.o. Bottled 2003

Costs: 35,- euro for 7 tasting glasses + food on the side. And unlimited water as well as geeky whisky facts from Emile 😉
